Find a Dream helped keep me off the streets...

I started wrestling when I was in 1st grade, I learned as I grew older that I liked to be more aggressive than wrestling offered, I started going out partying, fighting in the streets, got suspended from school for fighting, then some of my friends started training down at the Find A Dream gym, and told me I should come down and try it out. From the 1st day of training I saw that I had more passion for fighting than wrestling, after a couple of fights I saw that it was for me so put all my time into training, didn’t miss any practices, stopped partying so much and it kept me off the streets, it just made me feel that there was no need for fighting outside of the cage. I recommend that kids that are doing the same as I used to do, come down to the gym and give it a try and see how it goes for them, it won’t hurt them to try and it might just help them out, just like it helped me and a lot of my friends.

Find a Dream is helping kids...

It was over a year ago when I started singing for Find A Dream at some of their events. This organization is growing by helping kids in the community! Please become a fan and supporter of Find A Dream. ~ Savannah DE Groote
Find a Dream is providing opportunities...

I would also like to share what I've observed in the short amount of time I've been involved with this community. As a police officer, I see many kids and young adults grow into something they would have never intended to be. I feel this is largely due to negativity surrounding their lives. Find A Dream is working towards providing opportunities for these types of kids and others. Giving people something to be proud of that's bigger than themselves is something nobody will be able to take away. Being part of a team. Dedication, positive reinforcement, work ethic, integrity and most of all, self-worth and discipline are something these kids are being taught by people within this organization. Everyone involved with this organization can be proud of what they've already achieved, yet know that the sky is the limit... Because helping other people just because, will never get old.

Find a Dream is bringing structure and purpose in Waterloo, IA...

I support the Find A Dream program 100%. For everything that I have seen it do, over the last year, for the under privilege children of waterloo, to get them off the streets and bring structure and purpose to their lives. ~ Blake Breitsprecher
Find a Dream teaches self-discipline and respect...

Find A Dream is a great non-profit organization that help keeps the children off the streets. It not only teaches them fighting but respect, self-discipline, and how to channel that negative energy into something positive. Before my son started he was having anger issues and was getting in trouble because he was... bored and there was nothing for him to do. Then he started training and fighting, he is a better person now. I owe it all to Find A Dream and all the wonderful trainers. Keep up the good work!
